What is seef?
seef is a private AI assistant for your company's knowledge. It connects to the document systems you already use, answers questions in plain language, and cites the documents each answer came from. It runs in your own isolated instance, hosted in the EU.
Where is our data stored?
In your own isolated instance, hosted in the EU. Documents from your connected sources are stored and indexed there. Answering a question sends the prompt to a model you have approved; the documents themselves stay where they are. seef runs and manages the instance, so there is nothing for your team to host or patch.
Is our instance shared with other customers?
No. Every customer gets a single-tenant instance in a cloud project of its own, so another customer's data is never in the same project as yours.
Which AI models does seef use, and do they see our documents?
You choose which models your instance may use, and you can switch between them. A model receives a prompt only when someone asks a question, and only if you have approved that model. Nothing reaches a model you have not approved.
Which certifications does seef hold?
seef is certified to ISO 27001:2022 and NEN 7510-1:2024 by Brand Compliance (RvA C 548). Data residency in the EU supports your GDPR obligations.
Which document systems can seef connect to?
Google Drive and SharePoint today. Both sync and index into your own isolated instance, and you can disconnect a source whenever you want. If your knowledge sits somewhere else, such as Notion, Confluence or a network drive, tell us and we will look at it with you.
Can seef build tools for our own processes, not just chat?
One is running as a pilot right now: a tool built around a single customer's own process. It opens from the seef sidebar without a second login, and it runs inside the same isolated instance, under the same data boundary as their chat.
It takes the documents of a technical installation project and drafts a risk inventory and a safety plan. The model classifies and judges; the risk rows, the scores and the control measures come from a fixed catalogue rather than from generated text, and a second model reviews the first against the same sources. Exports land in the customer's own Word and Excel templates.
How is seef different from Microsoft 365 Copilot?
Copilot lives inside Microsoft 365. Microsoft runs the service, sets which models are in the catalogue and how requests are routed, and your admins pick from what is on offer.
seef is built the other way round. Your instance is single-tenant, in a cloud project of its own, and you decide which frontier models it may use and when to move to a newer one. It indexes Google Drive and SharePoint into that instance, and every answer cites the document it came from. Beyond chat we also build tools for a customer's own process on request.
Does our team need training to use it?
No. seef works like the chat tools your team already uses: ask in plain language, get an answer with its sources. There is no query syntax to learn.
